I ran in the Marde Gras 10K this weekend. I took first in my age group. I ran in 53 min 40 sec. It was a fun time. This is only the second time I have taken first. I am currently training for a Triathalon Sprint on March 28 and a 1/2 marathon on April 11.

Dan and I went to a Chicago Bears game on Oct. 19. It was a fantastic day. We didn't even need the blanket we bought. Here we are at Soldier Stadium in the old section. It is an amazing stadium.

Super Fun Snow Memory

This is a photo of Dan, Tawnia, Anthony and Sophia with a very large snowman. We lived in Canby at the time. It doesn't snow much there and we had a huge snow storm. We built this snowman and used a ramp and ladder to get the body and head on. The arms are 2x4's that we covered with snow. It was a fun time. It was about January 1993.

Corvallis

Corvallis Weekend

Dan and I went to Corvallis, Oregon this past weekend to see Anthony. He had an open wrestling practice that we went to then a tailgate before the football game. Oregon State won 66 to 13 versus Washington State. We had a good time visiting Anthony and his friends and going to the beach. Oregon is a beautiful place.

My First Try

I thought that I would give this a try because I enjoy looking and reading my out of state relatives, friends and family's blogs.

The main picture is of the "girls". Sophia was trying to figure out how to make her hair so she could be a troll for Halloween. Taragon had a great idea and fixed everyone's (even the dog Lady) hair up into a cone. We had fun with it and when Dan and Trent go home they thought we were weird, we acted like it was an everyday occurance. Which it is around here with one thing or another, if it's not hair, it's make-up or dress-up, always something.
